In 2019, Michalopoulos became the first Louisiana-based artist to exhibit during the Venice Biennale, showcasing his work at the European Cultural Centre’s Palazzo Bembo in Venice. The centerpiece of this show was Deliberating Distance—a stunning New Orleans streetscape depicting the city that has long been his muse.
We are excited to offer a limited-edition stone lithograph of Deliberating Distance, created on the same press and using the same techniques employed by Picasso, Toulouse-Lautrec, Dalí, and Manet. This stone lithograph will be the last work printed on this historic press in Paris.
